pi_city_hallDo you want to be involved in your local government? The work and dedication of citizens who serve contributes to the successful operation and development of our city. These bodies have a positive and direct effect on the quality of life and economic vitality of Pine Island.

The City Council seeks volunteers to serve on various city advisory boards, committees, and commissions in an advisory capacity. They are responsible for oversight and administration of specific functions, meet on a regular basis to advise the legislative and executive branches of the City government, interpret the City’s ordinances and zoning code, and protect the historic and environmental integrity of our community.

Applicants must be residents of Pine Island, desire to serve their community, willing to contribute the number of hours necessary, and are subject to confirmation by City Council. Selections are made as openings occur throughout the year. For more information contact City Hall at 507-356-4591.
